British Triathlon’s stance on use of disc brakes

This began with British Cycling announcing disc brakes will be allowed in domestic road and circuit competitions from 1 January 2018: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/about/article/20171114-about-bc-news-British-Cycling-to-allow-use-of-disc-brakes-in-domestic-road-and-circuit-competition-from-2018-0. This could mean the UCI and consequently ITU will follow suit.

Conscious of Christmas BTF have worked hard to get a statement on their website but cannot confirm what the ITU will do at this point as they simply don’t know.
